When I adopted Wiggles, I was frustrated with how expensive her necessary drugs and supplements were. With my experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, I knew exactly how much it costs to make them. They were marked up eight to ten times their cost!
So I reached out to Dr. Kate Mezan, a vet who knows firsthand some of the heartbreaking choices clients have to make due to treatment costs.
